As a more affordable full-suspension electric mountain bike, FREY EVOLVE has an easy and smooth frame made of 6061 Aluminum alloy.

One of highlights of this e-bike is the Bafang M510 motor. Compared to M500, it's 18% lighter in  weight and more perfect in performance.

The high-precision torque sensor is installed in the motor, which can precisely output assistance by the rider’s cadence and trampling power. Bafang also tuned the start-up characteristic to be smoother and more controllable, which will make riders easily adapt to the e-bike in the beginning.

Compared to the last generation, maximum cadence support is extended up to 120rpm with a maximum torque of 95Nm. The maximum power and maximum power duration are also increased. Now, making a short turn or starting on the slope is much easier. It makes riders can challenge more complex road conditions. In addition, the motor shell is changed to magnesium alloy, which is good for heat radiation.

Another highlight point is that Frey Evolve can pair with Bafang Go App via Bluetooth. You are now able to customize each riding mode precisely to your needs. All modes can be fine-tuned to offer more support or consume less power. You can upload the cycling data to the APP for viewing at any time. The cycling data includes light, power assist modes, real-time speed, maximum speed, average speed, single-trip distance TRIP, total distance ODO, the highest mileage, distance RANGE, energy consumption CALORIE, etc. Even you can lock your e-bike via the app and can be navigated through the map inside the APP.

Differences between NEO and NEO PRO：

Brake: Neo has a Tektro HD E730 4-piston brake which should be used with ordinary mineral oil. Neo Pro has a brake with Magura MT5e 4-piston, with special MAGURA Royal mineral oil. Both of them bring you an excellent braking force, while Magura MT5e allows you to delay braking when entering the corner, so you can take a step faster.

Front Fork: Neo uses a Rockshox RECON 27.5"*150mm air suspension fork, which has a pipe diameter of 32. Neo Pro uses a Rockshox YARI 27.5"*160mm air suspension fork, which has a pipe diameter of 35. Both of them can cope with a strong impact, while Neo Pro has a larger pipe diameter and higher travel which have a better support for going downhill.

Drivetrain: Compared with SRAM X5 9S(11-40T)  for Neo, Neo Pro with SRAM NX 11S set (11-42T)has a gear ratio of 381.8%, which is easier to ride on the slope. Adding damping to the rear derailleur can effectively reduce the probability of chain dropping and improve the riding experience.

 

The difference between Neo and Neo Pro does not mean that the advantages and disadvantages of the electric mountain bike are distinguished. Please choose the electric mountain bike suitable for yourself according to your own needs.
